VNO T4 Terrminal interrior

The VNO T4 terminal interior marks a return to Vilnius Airport with a new task and a deeper understanding of the specifics of its spaces. Five years ago, we delivered the VIP terminal interior here, gaining valuable experience that became the foundation for this project.

The T4 terminal is characterized by heavy passenger flow and a constantly changing environment, which made ergonomics, durability, and technical functionality the key design criteria. Working closely with architects and Vilnius Airport staff, we developed solutions that meet the needs of both daily operators and travelers. The design of the check-in counters was one of the most insight-demanding stages of the project — previous workstations were analyzed in detail, and comfort and efficiency aspects were carefully evaluated.

The interior atmosphere is shaped by warm, calming colors, abundant greenery, and natural wood elements — architectural choices that help reduce travel-related stress and create a welcoming environment. On the second floor, zones were designed to meet the needs of the modern traveler: bar-height tables allow passengers to work comfortably before their flights, while curved benches harmoniously combine stone, metal, and wood materials.

The project progressed smoothly thanks to precise upfront planning and close collaboration with the contractor. A clear workflow, well-aligned priorities, and efficient process management ensured high-quality furniture production and installation. Despite challenging construction site conditions, all fit-out works were completed in under six months.

The scale of the project is reflected in the numbers: more than 1900 m² of furniture materials were used, approximately 900 different components were manufactured, and over 50 deliveries were coordinated — all without a single sleepless night.

The T4 terminal interior once again confirmed that people are at the heart of every public space. By creating functional, ergonomic, and inviting zones, we aimed to deliver an environment where both airport staff and passengers feel comfortable and at ease.
